I think its inherited I have a dimple on my right cheek and so does my dad.
Dimples are the result of the way muscles fold when the contract. They're hereditary, so if you see someone with dimples, you can be sure that one of their relatives also has them.
You don't 'get' them, you're born with them. They're genetic.

Its got to be in your genes. If your mom or dad or relatives have it then there's a chance you will have dimples too .
