Help! Whats this acid-like feeling in my stomache?!

I have a burning pain in my stomache all over and my chest. Ive had it for a year. Is it acid reflux? i thought u only get it in your chest.

Acid reflux. Try avoiding fried/greasy foods, highly fattening things, acidic stuff (like tomatoes, lemonade, etc) for a while and see how it goes, then slowly reintroduce them til u find what caused the problem. If it is a more serious thing, there's zantac (which reduces inflammation in the esophagus from acid reflux), prilosec (acid blocker), etc. I'd try the non-pharmaceutical way first.

It could be reflux. Have you ever told a doctor about this? Since it has been a year, I would get it checked out to make sure its not serious.
It could either be acid reflux or maybe heartburn. I would try some Maalox or Pepcid AC or something, and it that doesn't work to stop the pain, see a doctor and tell them you suspect you have acid reflux. Explain to them that you tried heartburn medicine but it did not work.
Its likely acid reflux, it can be in your stomach, your chest, or even in the back of your throat. Talk to your doctor, take gaviscon or another mild antiacid in the meantime. Your doctor will probably have you try something like Prilosec OTC to see how things go, but if it keeps up you may need to have an endoscopy done (where they stick a camera down your throat while you're under anesthesia so they can check out your esophagus and stomach for ulcers and other issues).

It sounds like acid reflux but you should go to your doctor for tests. You could have ulcers also. Either way, you may need to change your diet and may have to take medication. I would not wait any longer because it could end up being something more serious.
