prostrate cancer--Flax meal, is it good or bad?!

Question:
I need to know if flax is a help to prostate cancer
Answers:
Flax is beneficial for two reasons. First of all, it provides fiber which helps keep your bowels and digestive tract clear and helps move toxins out sooner, therefore they're less likely to be absorbed into nearby organs (like your prostate).

Secondly, flax oil is a good anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants help to fight free radicals, which is what generally causes cancer. Your body can't get flax oil from whole seeds because the shell is too thick to digest. So if it's ground down into meal, you will be able to absorb the oil from it.

However, flax meal or oil is probably not going to cure your cancer. You should definitely see a specialist. Also, there are lots of websites online with good information; check for a cancer clinic or the Mayo clinic (don't just trust any "cure" that you read about on any old website).
