Hair loss in local area?!

I am losing hair in one side of my forehead. My doctor suggests that she can treat it with some injections on the spot. What are these injection and do they affect the hormones/health? Will my hair regrow?
Answers:
It depends on what it is you have. If it's psoriasis, the injections are hormone injections. If you don't want that, you can get scalp oil (by prescription) that you put on every night. It takes a few weeks for hair to grow back, but it works. You should be discussing those kinds of questions with your doctor though rather than us.
