what is the best way to get a military shine on shoes?!

You need to get some Kiwi boot polish, a soft cotton cloth and a little bit of water. Evenly spread the Kiwi on the boot or shoe and let it dry a little. Be careful not to let it dry completely, or it will not work.

Dip your cloth in the water and begin rubbing the Kiwi in small circles using firm, even pressure - but not too firm. After a few seconds, you will start to see the Kiwi being polished. Repeat this process until the entire boot or shoe has been polished.

Repeat this process two or three more times, and you will start to see the shine coming out. The secrets are: don't let the polish dry all the way, keeping your shine cloth moist and using just the right amount of pressure on the Kiwi. It will take a couple of times to get it right, but once you do, you will never be satisfied with any other shine again.

Just my two cents. :-)

Shoe shine

Its all about repetition. wipe some polish with an old cotton sock for the first few layers. rub lightly in circular motion and blow hot air from your mouth onto the surface and rub till the polish is getting shiny, repeat. when you begin to get a decent shine, use an old scrap piece of nylon stocking and do the same as above. good luck and be patient

The military man has it almost right. You don't have to use just kiwi polish. You can use shoe/boot butter/wax on it. I have had to polish a many a boot and shoes for my father and grandfather who were in the military and police force. The thing is, after you use either one once a week, all you have to do is just take a dry cloth and wipe them off at the end of the day. They will come back to their shine without having to reapply the butter/wax. Even if it rains, the butter/wax will not let it soak into your shoes/boots.

go to the local px ( if u have military id) and get the shoe shine gloss
