What looks better, 'A' line cut where the bangs are left long and the rest is cu!

I'm thinking about cutting my hair but I'm just wondering what most people think looks better. Long hair. Or the 'A' Line hair cut.

medium length hair is the best. too long looks wierd, and too short looks ugly.

Long hair if you want to appeal to conservatives, spiky if you want to appeal to the more avant garde crowd.
I think spiky looks great on people because it's inventive and unpredictable, but I'm a grandma so what do I know? (BUT I drive a Corvette and play rock guitar and skate so I don't tend to follow the "rules", I suppose. At least that's the issue my daughter-in-law has with me, I'm not a "good granny." Snort. Yeah, right. The kids have her mom to be the granny that bakes them cookies, I'd rather take them to horror movies and skate parks.)
