Can a person gain 9 pounds in a Week?/Do Guys Even Like Bigger Girls?!
Question:
Been having probs with my weight lately. I was wondering is this normal? Last week I weighed 211, yesterday I weighed 215. And now today at the Weight Loss Center I weighed in at 219. What is up with that? I heard of fluctuations, but never THAT drastic. As you see I am going back and try to lose it. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, I am feeling frusturated about this cause my fiancee lost over 30 pounds, I feel sorry for him cause I am bigger than him! I feel so embarrassed. Do guys even like bigger girls?

Firstly, no 2 scales are the same. Fluctuations like that so close together are likely because you're on different scales. I've seen scales that have up to a 10 lb difference - on the same day. Also, women gain water weight due to salt intake during the month, some quite drastically. Don't freak out. If you have a scale at home then weight yourself once a day at the SAME TIME of the day. (IE: Monday at 9AM, Tuesday at 9AM, or once a week but same time of the day) If you do this and see a radical difference in a week or two of your gaining/losing weight it's something you need to look into with a doctor.
Second, it shouldn't matter what guys think but what you think of yourself. If you look in the mirror and are satisfied then you're fine. Further, if your fiancee isn't raising the issue then stop worrying.
Thirdly, I'm no Kate Moss myself and I can tell you from personal experience that I haven't had any complaints from the myriad of men I've been with. Sure, men like the package to catch their eye but it's not the only thing they look at. Who wants a pretty wrapped box if its empty inside? Don't sell yourself or men short.

yea there are guys out there that like bigger girls, and not everybody is able to easily lose weight while others can do it easily..and dont worry about gaining that much in a week i gained 20 pounds in two weeks, it happens
yea dotn worry i kno how exactly you feel i think that most guys liek bigger gurls but it also depends on who they are n what they like too.

Are you near your period? You can be bloated and you'll obviously weigh more. Or your scale can be broken?
