straightener help?? i want to know how and what straightener i should use and wh!

i have decently thick hair and its really curly (but not tight curls meduim)and iw ant my hair stick STRAIGHT. and i never had straightned it before and want to know how and what to use ?? please help.

Use a straightening iron with ion ceramic plates. (Chi makes really great products for this, but my personal favorite is Helen of Troy which works great and is reasonably priced.) The ion technology seems to help with the frizz. Also, the longer your hair, the wider you need the iron to be. Another product to consider is a protectant type spray made to use if you decide to staighten repeatedly. I use a smooth down spray after straightening to help with the fly away frizziness.

Use the wet to straight staightner it works really good and as it steams it keeps your hair from frying. also put in Frizz Eaze before you do that to keep the frizzyness down.
use a flat iron if u just want a temporary hair style. I am not sure about straightening products sorry i can not help past the flat iron.
Get you a good ceramic straighting iron, or one that steams your hair at the same time. Also, make sure that it has a temperature setting on it, so you can adjust it how you want. I have really long hair with natural curls, this works for me. Hope this helps!
use a chi flat iron nad chi silk drops
you could always get it chemically straightened..but it basically kills your hair. its much easier though becuase it lasts until your new hair grows back.
if you want to use a straightner, i would recommend any CHI straightner. they cost around $100-$200.

i have think hair too and i usually put it in layers to make it easier and more efficient. i start with a like a half up half down pony thing and let a little more each time. it helps and also a good straightner
