what is the downside of using birth control? Major effects?!
Question:
Answers:
I know in some women, like my sister in law, BC causes blood clots in their legs. Also if you smoke, this risk and the risk of heart problems is greatly increased. I was on the patch (am currently trying for #2) and had no adverse reactions, no mood swings and I actually has lighter periods that lasted for less time and less cramping.
Other Answers:
depends on which method you use. High levels of hormones are known to cause blood clots, then again, that depends on family history, etc. Best advice.consult with your physician..and when u do, ask a lot of questions..good luck!
