a 2000 calorie diet for a hypetensive person?!
Question:
Answers:
depends on the body weight, height & gender of the person. I do not think your caloric intake should be any different from someone with normal blood pressure, but you should restrict sodium & fat intake. Try KCl (Potassium Chloride) as a salt substitue

Consult a physician.
The Atkins approach will help you cope with your blood probems if you follow it very strictly- but that's not easy to do. I recommend instead replacing your usual foods with whole grains, plenty of veggies, and low fat meats. Try to eat as little sugar as possible, and don't go overboard on salt either.
USE A DIABETIC, LOW SODIUM DIET.
A DIABETIC DIET IS LOW CAL AND HEALTHY
LOW SODIUM WILL HELP WITH HYPERTENSION
