Use cucumber slices over your eyes, the easiest and quickest way to get rid of dark circles is by using potato over the effected area. Slice some potato chips(fresh, raw) and put it on your eyes relax for a while, or you can grate some potato and sprinkle it one your eyes(closed) this will surely lighten the skin around your eyes.

Get as much sleep as your body needs, usually, it's at least 7 hours and then some. Otherwise buy a good concealer stick to hide those dark circles.

Actually if you go to any drug store (like Shopper's Drug Mart) simply ask the lady who works in the cosmetics section for the brand "Roc". I remember using them and hearing high ratings for it. It's very expensive and comes in a tiny tube. but since I am so forgetful never ended up adding that to my routine, hence it was wasted..
But "Roc" is highly recommended under-eye dark circle remover..

put slices of cucumber on your eyes (closed). the coolness relaxes your muscles around the eyes.

it helps to put lotion on your face before putting on makeup. then i would try using either Loreal or lancome coverup. if that doesn't work, use the liquid form makeup.

you could have a bad allergy to something

SLEEP! at least 8 hrs per day and drink ONLY and nothing else but WATER.

WET TEA BAGS OR COLD SPOONS

You need to do a whole body cleanse. You can pick one up at your local health food store. Your body is deprived of oxygen in that area due to dehydration etc. Drink loads of water with lemon and use cucumbers. You most likely have a build up of toxins that need to be eliminated. Lemon water and a cleanse will help with this.

use cucumber with skin on cut into slices two on each side or avon has a product that might help

Chinese medicine says that dark circles under your eyes are a sign of an internal problem, not just a skin problem. If they are dark that indicates toxic blood and the kidneys weakness in filtering your blood. If they are swollen that indicates sluggish filtration of your kidneys.

This can lead to a variety of health problems such as water retention, scanty urine, swollen ankles, fingers and toes and possibly urinary infection.
There are several solutions you can use.
The are in my source you should check them out.

avoid smoking pot

Dark circles are caused by one of three primary reasons

- Bone structure. If you have deep-set eyes, shadowing contributes to the dark color under the eyes. Your best bet: camouflage. Look for concealers with yellow undertones, which counteract the bluish cast to under-eye circles.

- Pigmentation. Genetic hyper-pigmentation is the most treatable form of dark circles. Your best bet: Try a lightening cream or talk to a dermatologist about chemical peels or laser resurfacing.

- Vasculature inflammation. Late nights, allergies and nutritional deficiencies can enlarge the blood vessels beneath the thin under-eye skin. Your best bet: Take care of yourself! Sounds cliché but drink that water, get your beauty sleep, eat a healthy diet and avoid cigarette smoke (easy enough, right?).

concealer. but it doesn't cover them completely; that's the annoying part.

O It's probly hereditary. Lots of sleep won't cure it lol. You need a good concealer that is lighter than your regular foundation. Olay I know has a cream for that I think It is about $10. I personally have never used, but hear it works. Ask a derma also for better advice.

I have that problem too and it isnt from lack of sleep. I sleep 8-9 hours a night so I know it isnt that. I have been told that I have thin skin under my eyes and that is why I have them.

I use makeup for it. I use Physicians Formula under eye makeup. It is yellow and helps balance the colors. You cant even tell I have dark circles any more.

most of the times we get black circles due to congestion in the eye area , what I usually do and -has-worked-for-me is at night i prepare chamomille tea get 2 cotton pads and deep them in the tea and put them on my eyes in the mornings I get a piece of ice when i wake up and i make sure my eyes are not warm from sleeping and place them on my eyes, i also use a gel mask for the eyes only those you can find at any beauty store one keeps them i the refirgerator ,,,if you can sleep with it it would be better if not just use it for some mins, I also use potatoes sometimes and then I cut them by half and keep them there 10 mins try to sleep well drink lots of water.

I use Clinique "All about eyes" and it works great!!

my step-mother was a model that would get horrible dark circles if she didn't get enough sleep. she would use red lipstick - make little dots with it were the dark circles were then blend it in - like you do a cover up. it worked for her - she always looked great. she said that the make-up artists taught her this - maybe give it a try along with some of the other suggestions you have gotten.

Try a light refracting powder like this-
http://beauty.ivillage.com/discuss/rate/reviews/0,16485,8l0n,00.html. They help to reflect light off your skin, covering up any flaws you might have (such as dark circles!).
Or you could use some colour theory- the bags under your eyes are purple(ish), so if you put something yellow (opposite to purple on the colour wheel) on top, like an eyeshadow, it should help to counteract the dark circles. Just don't use too much or you will look ill.

I am a cosmetic physician in the Palm Springs area. Many dark circles are ALLERGIC reactions. In fact, we call them allergic shiners.
Find an antihistamine like Tavist; give it a try.

If this doesn't help, find a doctor near you that is good at the Photofacial process using intense pulsed light. MAKE SURE THE DOCTOR KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING since the ususal reactions from IPL is either NOTHING happens or you get burned!

If you don't mind traveling, check out the ultimate expert in IPL in the USA, Dr. Patrick Bitter SENIOR in Los Gatos near San Jose.
Hope this helps!

You cannot eliminate them altogether but you can tone down the darkness.. Make sure you clean your face everyday and no going to bed with make-up on..
Try a good eye cream at night because thats when your pores open up . I use Loreal hydrafresh eyes.
When you wake up clean your face and under or over your foundation apply a yellow stick it looks like a lipstick but is good for coverage. They also come in green but they are for redness. Have a look in your cosmetics counter. good luck let me know how you go

try keeping two slices of cucumber on closed eyes for 10mnts daily
or
Slice one small piece off of a potato, and cut in half. Put each slice under your eyes and leave them for 20 minutes.

I've been using two products from Mary Kay that really help: TimeWise Age-Fighting Eye Cream (contains topical Vitamin K) and TimeWise Night Solution (helps to even the skin tone). They're a little expensive, but I don't mind paying the extra bucks because it really works for me! =)

Eat something, I saw your other question about being a size one and wanting to lose weight. You are going to die of heart failure if you are not eating.

Dark circles will not go away until you get healthy, eat right and you will find your self feeling better and looking better, it also telling you you may be under weight. How tall are you and how much do you weigh? You need to check out a web site that will help you find out what you should weigh.
