How do I choose a BRONZER? I am a fair skinned with freckles, light brown hair.!

Question:
I'm buying it from a drugstore over the internet b.c. I live abroad. How do I get a good shade? Should I just go for a light bronzer to make sure it's subtle and generic-enough a color for me? Which brand do you reccomend?
Answers:
My sister uses Mary Kay's Bronze Highlighting Powder ($16), it works for all skin tones. You can't get it through a drug store though.

I am fair skinned and I bought Jergens natural glow moisturizer, and it works really well and you see results in about 3 days

I would get something from Physicians Formula they hands-down have the best bronzers in drug-stores. don't be afraid to get one a little darker since you have freckles it will look natural and sun-kissed, i have a kind from sephora called cargo miami beach i love it! its around $25 but its worth it

I am fair skinned also.Do not use dark,it will turn you orange, use a medium to dark for your skin and hair..I like Loreal Sublime bronze,it does the job and is inexpensive.

I highly recommend Clinique bronzers. They look very natural. They also have an interactive program that will help you pick a shade. www.clinique.com

i use nyc bronzer in sunny

Jergens just came out in shades that will work for you. Go to Walgreens, WalMart, etc, they carry fair.

If your looking for a self-tanner, you can do no better than Jergens Natural Glow in Fair. The color builds up gradually after repeated application. I think it gives you very good color. Buy the one that they make especially for the face too. I think the one they make for the body is a little heavy for facial use. (Both products sold drugstore.com for 5.99 each)

If your looking for a makeup option..

I really like Benefit's Glamazon(www.benefitcosmetics.. It costs $26 bucks but it is definitely worth it. Don't be scared by its looks.. it comes in a little bottle that looks like brown nail polish. I "paint" it on the sponge that comes with it and apply to places where the sun would hit. bridge of nose, apples of cheeks, forehead..and then blend it in. The color is really natural looking.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends Natural Radiance Bronzer in Sunkissed 30 is a good one if you are looking for one in an easy to use compact form (11.99.. drugstore.com). This one is also very natural looking.
