My Mom has fibromyalgia- she has her good days and her bad days. She takes a lot of medication for it which have some negative side effects, but for the most part she's doing okay. If you've been diagnosed with it my heart goes out to you because I've seen what my Mom goes through and I know it can't be easy. Best of luck to you and take care of yourself.

Yes I have been diagnosed about 10 years ago. I ache all over, my muscles are weak and I am extremely fatigued. Seem to never feel rested. Am depressed as well. I used to outshop my daughter, not any more. I take feldene and tramadol for the pain. Seems lately though the pain is greater-may have to ask for different pain meds. Some docs aren't very well versed with the disease and some are. Good luck finding one who is compassionate. Also, many people just do not believe that you are as sick as you are and tell you that you look fine. Seems it is alot alike the other disease CFS, which is definitely not accepted by alot of Doctors. If you want to talk let me know and we can go back and forth further if you have the disease.
I have been diagnosed with FM and CFS. It took 2 years and several doctors looking for answers for my symptoms, pain, fatigue, tremmors, headaches, and depresion.
I have now ben diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease, which I may have instead of or along with the FM and CFS. I wont know for sure until a year of treatment for the Lyme. I am hoping to get my life back, I am bedridden most of the time due to the fatigue. I'm only 36.
