I am pregnant and my ovaries have been hurting anyone know what this might be f!

Question:
It is usually a sharp pain when i roll over stand up cough or sneeze. Also if i walk around with a very full stomach it feels like they are going to explode or something.
Answers:
It could be a couple of different things. I am also pregnant, and the pain you are describing is very similar to what I was experiencing. They are called corpeus leptum cysts of pregnancy, and usually go away on their own within the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. Sometimes they rupture, and cause several hours of pain though. My cyst half ruptured when I was 6 weeks along, and I ended up with fluid just behind the ovary in the 'pouch of Douglas', which made it more uncomfortable for me.

It is also possible that they are just normal 'growing pains'.

Another more sinister cause is an ectopic pregnancy, which can occur in your ovary. My doctor checked me over for that, by doing a blood test to measure the amount of the pregnancy hormone (hCG) in my blood, and then sent me for an ultrasound at 6 weeks. Ectopic pregnancies usually don't start to cause any problems until the 7th or 8th week of pregnancy, and the pain is apparently excruciating.

Good luck, and I hope things turn out well for you!

could be cysts. my ex-wife used to get them. you should go to the doctor.

Its most likely not your ovaries its called broad ligament pain and its from the uterus stretching. i had it so bad they thought i had appendicitis.

ur baby is probably eating the eggs

It sounds like cysts on the ovaries, which is typical during pregnancy and if they rupture it can hurt like hell. But normally it won't hurt the baby, you may have to go in the hosptial for a few days to watch for infection. but that's if they rupture. Talk to your OB gyn and see if they will do an ultrasound, it will show up there if you have one

How do you know it's your ovaries? I could just be ligament pain.if you are worried, go see you Dr.
