Piercings (Ears and Naval)?!
Question:
Do they hurt?
Do they leave scars if you take it out permanently? Or do they have any other bad effects?
For the nose, it like earrings on a guy? Like, does it matter on a girl which side is pierced (ie one side shows that you're straight while the other means the converse)?
So many questions,so little time.
What's a good age to get them done?
Answers:
Getting anything pierced could hurt. Sometimes you luck out and only feel a slight pinch when the needle goes through.
With all piercings, please do not go to the mall or a piercing pagoda! Go to a piercing/tattoo parlor and get it professionally done. It will cost more but it is sooo much safer and they can really tell you details.
I don't have my naval pierced but a girlfriend does and she said it hurt a little more then her ears.
They don't leave scars but you can tell that my ears are pierced when I don't have earrings in. The holes are closed but there are small dots there.
Having piercings on one side or the other does not mean if you are gay or not.

Yes, they can hurt when you get them. Yes, they leave scars; they are permanent. Be really, really sure you want to get them before you do. They came also become infected (mine did). I had to wait for it to heal up and could not repeirce for a couple of years because I kept getting a cyst in one earlobe.
I don't know about the nose hole thing.Age is a persoanl choice. Again, they are permanent holes so be really, really sure you want them-and where you want them.

yes it leaves scars, but not you ears. if you want to get anything done, who cares what society thinks, what re there opinions based on,not fact thats for sure. oOo and theres creams that take away scars, like coco butter

yes they hurt . no , they don't leave scars , but they leave holes . no , you can get your noce pierced on any side you like . i think you can get them done in your middle teens .

i have two piercings on each ear .
when i got my ears pierced it didn't hurt except for right when they were pierced and it felt like a small pinch. my sister's friend got her naval pierced and she said it didn't hurt and it felt the same as getting your ears pierced.
