Knee replacement surgery-spinal anaesthetic- will he have to have a foley cathet!

Question:
What will he do if they don't give him one?
Answers:
I've had three knee surgeries, two of them were a spinal block. I watched the surgeon perform both procedures, it was weird but worth it. I did not have a catheter. I could not drink anything 12 hours prior to surgery. They also have you use the restroom when you arrive. Good luck
