sounds like a curious person to me. We are all curious. Some people ask questions and others just want to ask.

They are probably concerned. But if you don't want to answer, just say something like "Oh, not much"

depends. if i have been talking to her about some things personal then maybe she feels like she can ask me things like that. it would still be rude, but i would understand the role i played in something like that taking place.
if we never spoke on an personal level, and she ask me that, yep that pretty nosey and i wouldnt asking her to let our converstaion pertain to work as that does not concern her!

Unless the coworker is a close friend and you confide in each other a lot, yes it is rude. So, what DID the doctor say??

no, unless you dont like the person or the person in persistant after you r first response.

I think it is rude to ask a person what was done at doctor's appointment. That is privae information that is usually only shared with family or close friends. What if the person had a hemorroid removed or if they were treated for genital herpes?
