Great for acid reflux and any stomach/intestinal problem is Pepogest which can be found at your local health food store. Wonderful stuff!

SIMPLE! Suck on one of those red & white striped peppermint candies. Peppermint soothes the stomach. You may want to try peppermint tea, also. Our family has used this method for years. It really helps. (There is also a product available over-the-counter called Emetrol. It can be used if you are so nauseous you think you are going to puke.) It comes in Peppermint (imagine that) or Cherry. It is truly sickly sweet and I find the peppermint candy to be easier and taste better, as well as much less expensive. If your nervous stomach causes other occurences, like diarrhea, there is one other home remedy to know about. THOROUGHLY mix a heaping teaspoon of ground cloves in a glass of water, then drink it really fast. (It doesn't taste very good.) You may burp clove flavor for a little while, but you can usually stop diarrhea within a few minutes. DO NOT USE THE CLOVES IF YOU HAVE THE FLU OR FOOD POISONING OR SOME OTHER ILLNESS IN WHICH YOUR BODY IS RELEASING TOXINS IN YOUR STOOL IN ORDER TO GET YOU FEELING BETTER. The same thing goes for the Emetrol, don't use it if your body is trying to shed the 'poison' from being sick, but the peppermint can be used at any time. Good Luck!
