Often times we create our own stresses. We push ourselves to suceed, impress others, be the most popular..name your poisen and then we never meet that expectation or desire. Eventually we are unable to obtain anything close to what we want because of the negative inner commentary caused by this pressure. Love yourself for who you are and the right actions and feelings will result. If you have difficulty in acheiving a peaceful mindset on your own try medidative exercises such as yoga where you set a purpose, clear your mind of everything then come back to that purpose in the end with a peaceful mind. I know it sounds corny but it can work. Therapy can help and is covered by insurance if you have it. Check out EMDR therapy which can rapidly help you reprogram your brain to think more positively. If you don't have insurance coomunity centers often times make group therapy or support groups available for little money to the public.
