White speckles under nails?!

Question:
What causes the white speckles under (or on?) my nails? What can I do to make them go away? How are these specks occuring, and how can I prevent more?

Hope this is in the right spot.

Thanks for the answers!
Answers:
It is bruising underyour nail. it happens if you hit your nail too hard. It can also be because of not enough vitamins. I would wait for another week or so. If they don't go away. ask your doctor. AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE LIKE SOMEBODY ELSE SAID! GEEZ! anyways. don't be scared because I get them sometimes and eventually they just go away!

Other Answers:
Those are blisters that form under the beds of your nails. There isn't much you can do to stop them. They do disappear as the nail grows

umm id say they are caused buy malnutricion..my brother had that and we made him take extra vit. and they went away

THEY ARE LIE MARKS WHEN YOU LIE ONE APPEARS

It means you're going to die.

Could be calcium deficiency or possibly anaemia, a blood test will tell you which.

Your GP may be able to tell without a blood test - he's got more experience than me!

it also happens when you bump your nail too hard.
But more than likely you need to double check you vitiman and nutrition intake. You body is telling you its lacking something form your diet. Are you meeting your daily protien, fiber and calicum requirements?
The spots will dissaper in time.

My mom always told me it's from putting to much pressure on them.

im pretty sure thats healthy; someone told me they were calcium deposits

It's just a lack of calcium, you can get calcium but make sure you take them with vitamin D.

It means that you have a HUGE CRUSH on someone and they don't know, and it's killing you inside to tell them but you can't and you know you will never be with them EVER; but someday you will make it happen.

I heard this from a friend, it come from your deepest thoughts about someone you really like and want to go out with.
