I am going to have a root canal done on my front tooth. How long after this can!

I need to know how long I will have to wait to get a crown put on after a root canal.

If the dentist wants to schedule that much time, it could be done as soon as the root canal is finished. The crown prep, that is. A temporary will have to be placed while the impression is sent to the lab and the crown is fabricated.

I think its about a week or so that you go back to get the crown put on. I just had two root canals done but, mine were both back teeth. For me, They had temporary crowns on that were silver in color. I would call the dentist and see what they say. It may be different for front teeth. Good Luck!
