How can I myself to finish all the thigs I have to do?I have no other responsib!

Question:
I have things to take care of and I can not get them done. I have not produced what I set myself to produce because I can never get to finish what I need to do to continue. I have spent whole days distracting myself from the work I have to get done and have lost money because of that. I know it is somewhat an emotional or discipline problem because I have suffered from this for years and I have not been able to change. It happens to me with work and personal things. When I look towards the immediate future, knowing that something has to get done, I don't picture myself finishing it. When I do its because of pressure and once I am on a roll, I enjoy it and hate myself for not doing it earlier. Am I suffering from a BAD case of eternal procrastination? I hate it, I do not let myself do anything else until my chore is done, I have been on this computer since Monday and done very little, I feel I am wasting my life away because I never finish. does this make sense to anyone??

Sometimes adults have Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder - ADHD. This does not mean you have it but I listed the criteria below. However, it is important to note that official you must possess the necessary credentials to give a diagnosis however below is the measure used to determine that. Also there are many people who may not have ADHD and suffer from the same thing that you suffer from. Which sounds like the inability to remain focused on your tasks and a lack of motivatin to complete tasks.

There are medications available to help you focus and increase your motivation. You should consult your doctor regarding those types of medication.

Below I listed the criteria for ADHD

Six or more of the following symptoms of inattention have been present for at least 6 months to a point that is disruptive and inappropriate for developmental level:

Inattention

1. Often does not give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities.

2. Often has trouble keeping attention on tasks or play activities.

3. Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly.

4. Often does not follow instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace (not due to oppositional behavior or failure to understand instructions).

5. Often has trouble organizing activities.

6. Often avoids, dislikes, or doesn't want to do things that take a lot of mental effort for a long period of time (such as schoolwork or homework).

7. Often loses things needed for tasks and activities (e.g. toys, school assignments, pencils, books, or tools).

8. Is often easily distracted.

9. Is often forgetful in daily activities.

Good luck in solving your issue. In life there are those who watch things happen, those who talk about what happen, and those who make things happen.

Go make it happen!

Here's an idea and its only a suggestion.. Turn off the friggin computer and get to work. In the time it took you to type all that you could have finished something..
Seriously we have all been there but there comes a time when you just have to Stop The Insanity and turn the darned thing off. Return to reality.
