What works faster and better and stays in your system longer..CREATINE or WHEY P!

Question:

Answers:
Whey protein is a complete protein that your muscles need., if you're eating enough protein from natural sources like eggs, beef, chicken and fish., you really don't need it but it doesn't hurt to have a shake right after your meal.

Creatine helps you out by letting your workout longer by providing ATP to your muscles. Your muscles does seem larger using creatine because it causes your muscle to retain more water. It does aid in muscle recovery. Glutamine is another supplement that you might want to consider., glutamine is designed more for recovery then anything else.. The three work the best together.

You need to cycle both creatine and glutamine., also I found that extensive use of both., your body slows down it own production so you might notice a decline when you are off of it but you bounce back right away. You need to cycle off because if you use it 24/7., your body will adapted and it becomes useless to you.

They all work fast., and stays in your system for a couple of days., but remember your body naturally produces the stuff itself. (not the whey protein). With creatine., if your body naturally produces enough of it.., it won't do you any good if you take it. I know people who tried it and says it useless., for me., it works.

Other Answers:
they do two different things..creatine can help shift water to your muscles to make them look a little bulky. when i used to take it, it gave me more energy to lift more, however, i cannot stress enough the importance of whey protein. when you lift, your muscles need protein to repair and build. Normal intake of protein from food is usually not enough which is why many bodybuilders supplement with whey protein which creatine doesnt do. Stay away from the vanilla flavors because they taste like crap. One other thing, before you start playing with supplements, read up on them to see what make work best for you. If you are a beginner, then stay away from them because its best to start slow. As you begin to lift more, then you might want to start with the creatine and whey protein for added muscle mass.

If you want answers join a bodybuilding forum. Creatine is for muscle recovery and energy.

Whey protein is just that protein. It is another way for you to get protein in, which you would have to get a lot in if you're trying to bulk up. The thing about whey protein is that the drinks are fast absorbing so they work well as a post workout drink.

They are 2 different products, so they each have their own benefits.
Whey protein is for a quicker form of protein, easily added to anything you eat or drink.
Creatine is for recovery.

Sometimes you can mix the two together, but that is when you are a serious weight lifter and it IS your life.

Creatine is usually for persons who are a little more advanced in their weight training.
Whey protein is for anyone, at anytime.

Try using them both together. Try HMB too.
