guide to normal blood sugar levels?!

Question:

Answers:
Normal glucose blood levels vary from person to person, but almost all fall into the range of 90 to 120 mg/dl when fasting. For perhaps 2 hours after a meal, glucose levels rise to perhaps 140 mg/dl until the meal has been fully digested and absorbed.

Glucose is kept at (or very near) the normal level at all times by arranging for stored glucose (in the liver) to be put into the blood when the level drops and by releasing insulin when blood glucose levels rise which forces most body cells (about 2/3) to absorb glucose from the blood.

In diabetes, either the the amount of insulin is reduced (loss of production) or body cells become insensitive to it. Or both in some cases. The result is more glucose left in the blood than normal, and that is the characteristic (and diagnostic) sign of diabetes (either Type).

don't eat lots of carbs they bring them up, surgar stuff like cordile soft drinks junk foods ect take insluin when needed and the amount u should take.eat the right meals as in brekkie lunch dinner with only small snack that are healthy in between

Normal blood sugar is about 70-120 depends on the person. The best way to control sugar levels is by avoiding sweets (candies, chocolates, cakes, deserts, sodas, juices etc.), less carbs, eat small portion meals, and of course excercise.
