microbiology report-smears(grams)-reported,. isolated-no growth- Fungus Smears-No fungal elementseen,AFB-Smears-Many afb seen,Gram stain- Moderate pus cells no bacteria seen..
Answers:
I would be worried about tuberculosis. Pulmonary tuberculosis is diagnosed by visualization of acid-fast bacilli (AFB) on a smear and isolation of the organism from a culture of this sputum.
Without culture, it still could be other mycobacterial species collectively known as the nontuberculous mycobacteria (for example m. avium).

It means that you have a slight infection .the neutrophils are white blood cells which are produced when there is some sort of infection present. It may be a cold, sore throat..that sort of thing. Other than that everything else is OK there is no fungus,or bacteria present. The gram stain has some pus cells, which like I said is due to some sort of an infection. Ask your Dr. for advise on maybe getting an antibiotic to cure the infection. Good luck..hope this helped!
