dont no

intrauterine device - it's a form of birth control fitted by your doctor and you wear it inside your uterus.

I have no idea. I've never heard of the thing.

intrauterine device it is a small T like device that goes inserted inside the vagina to prevent pregnancies but it is against most religions and i don't think its a good thing to use.

It's a form of birthcontrol, they insert it into you and it lasts for up to 12 years, it has copper in it and something about the copper makes it nearly impossible to get pregnant. It's little and the shape of a T. you can also have it removed anytime you decide that you may want children. It's a good solution to the pill. You don't have to remember to take anything everyday and it's just as effective.

It's sort of T-shaped. It's inserted I want to say into the cervix. My doctor wouldn't give it to me because he'll only use it on married woman with ONE partner. I'm not really sure why, something about infection. I know some woman had issues with being allergic to the material they used to be made of, but, they're different now. There are some risks. But it's a good form of birth control.

Its a birth control method. They insert a little Y shaped thingy into your cervix and it slowly releases the birth control into your system. You can leave it in 5 or more years depending on the one you get, Mirena, the one I have is for 5 years. They normaly only give to women who have had a child.

Have one.

looks like a condom that doesn`t unroll about 2-3 inches acrossed the dr. puts it on the end of your cervix [cervix cap] =birth control..

IUD is NOT a cervical cap. I was actually just looking into it myself, it's an intrauterine device. It goes in the Uterus (thus, intra uterine). There is a hormonal one and a non-hormonal one, which makes it nice. They're 98-99% effective, depending on the brand. It has to be inserted and removed by a doctor, and it lasts for several years, so you don't have to worry about anything but STD prevention. However, the one most common in the US causes heavier periods and more severe cramping. But if you're concerned about Osteoporosis, it could be worth it. If not, the shot (Depo-Provera) is pretty good too.
