I don't know what to do, can someone help me?!

Question:
I have trouble keeping my same weight, but whatever I do it fluctuates and it increases. I am going to be 25 in 4 years and my mom (who's a nurse) tells me that when a person turns 25 their metabolism decreases as you get older. Now I am not seriously overweight, but I am still overweight and I don't like it.Could I be gaining weight because I get so depressed sometimes. I try what I can to decrease my weight, even not eating sometimes but having something to drink instead. I don't like using pills to help lose the weight. I also have acid reflux disease making me nautious at points during the day even when I want to do some workouts to keep me going. I have no clue what to do.Can someone help me?

Kil your TV; It works

Other Answers:
1) Become a vegan. It is extremely healthy for you and you lose weight very fast.
2) Exercise more. You could use jump ropes, hoola hoops.any sort of thing that gets you sweating.

first, why are you depressed?life is great, second if you don't eat your metabolism will slow down and u gain weight faster so you should eat balanced, fourth try doing some excersice like walking, don't push yourself to hard.
GOOD LUCK!

You should see your doctor. Your acid reflux may be caused by an infection that can be cured with antibiotics. While you are there, share your concerns about your weight with the doctor. Your doctor might want to put you on an anti depressant or recommend counseling for you. The doctor might also suggest that you see a nutritionist to put you on a sensible diet.

you have to check your meal an don't eat fat foods. you have exercise every day to keep you healthy, strong, slim an fit for the day. and if there is no change you mite a doctor

AT 21-YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY SO MUCH..

If you are getting overweight and depressed and acid reflux, you may have hypothyroidism. This is exactly the symptoms that I've had when I got diagnosed. Also, if you are tired, irregular heart beats, swollen thyroid, or a family history of thyroid problems, then you have increased chances of hypothyroidism. Basically, that just means your thyroid is not producing enough thyroid hormones, which regulates your metabolism, heart rate and just many other functions of your body. If you had the extra symptoms that I have mentioned, I think it's best to go to the doctor and get a blood test. Just ask him to test for our TSH and other thyroid related things.

Hope that helped~

Are you overweight? Calculate your Body Mass Index and find out. The Body Mass Index (BMI) serves as an estimate of body composition (the ratio of fat to muscle and bone) based on your height and weight. According to the National Institutes of Health, the BMI is a reliable indicator of total body fat, which is related to the risk of disease and death. Being overweight or obese increases the risk of hypertension, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some cancers. Deaths from obesity-related causes in the U.S. are now the second-leading cause of death after smoking, accounting for more than 16 percent of all deaths. The Body Mass Index is valid for both men and women 18 years of age or older, but may overestimate body fat in people who have a muscular build (bodybuilders) and may underestimate body fat in people who have lost muscle mass (pot-bellied people with spindly legs). The BMI is the ratio of the weight to the height squared; it is calculated by dividing the weight in kilograms by the height in meters squared (BMI = weight / height2).

Underweight BMI less than 18.5
Normal weight BMI 18.5 to 24.9
Overweight BMI 25 to 29.9
Obese BMI 30 or greater
