Is it ok to pick your nose in public?!

If you feel like you have something in your nose and you pick it, is it bad etiquette. Should you not just pick it to avoid someone pointing it out and embrassing you.

You should definitely try to remove it because it would be much more embarrassing if whatever it was in your nose flew out or became exposed while you were in the company of others.
Try to do is discretely or use a tissue/handkerchief.

Ew. Yes, it is very wrong to pick your nose, even if you are in solitary confindment, like, in your basement, blow it out, or ignore it!

Picking your nose in public is not ok and does not show any sign of been brought up in a healthy environment. You can always wash inside your nose when talking bath or use a cleenex to wipe it in public
No definatly not it is really nasty and you shouldnt even want to pick your nose unless your a little kid. If you do pick your nose your snot has tons of germs on it + your hands have germs on them 2 + it might also make you sick with all the germs.

This morning I took public transit and enjoyed how quiet the ride was. I glanced around at my fellow travelers and quickly wished I hadn't. A young lady was reading her book and picking her nose. I stared in disgust. She never noticed. I'm surprised by people's total lack of judgement when it comes to personal etiquette in public. Another time, while taking public transit, an older man let loose some very loud farts. It's a normal bodily function and it was obvious he was comfortable with that. Had it been me, I would have turned bright red from embarrassment. I also would have left - quickly! Do people who fart or pick their noses in public just not care about what kind of impression they're making? Or do they think it's okay to act this way in public?
