a whole hell of alot i weigh 117 and im 5'6 and very healthy so yeah you should look into loseing about 30 to 40 pounds

don't listen to all the people who tell you #s of lbs. to lose- they have no idea what they're talking about!! don't hurt yourself!
go to kidshealth.org and do a BMI test- those come out really accurate. they calculate your age, height and weight and tell you if you're average, underweight or overweight.
dont go crazy though! dont hurt yourself!

130 is a good weight.but for your height you should bring it down to at least 115-120..running is the best exercise out there because it works you in all the right places and drink lots of water

For your height, your ideal weight should be around 85-90lbs so you could easily lose 40 of fat and still be healthy. Just do it the smart way, don't try any of the unhealthy fad diets (Atkins, Super Protein Diet, etc.) The best way to do this is start a full body resistance exercise routine (ie. lift weights) 3-4 days a week and eat healthy. Adding cardio a couple of times per week for 30-40 minutes (or more if you can) will help speed up the fat loss. Remember, muscle burns calories while you are exercising and all day long. Cardio workouts only burn calories while you are performing the exercise.
