Help! I work for someone I think has adult ADD and he's making me nuts! Does any!

Question:
I rent a room in a massage establishment he owns. He doesn't seem willing or able to take care of business. If I (or anyone else) expresses concern about a problem, he cuts me off in midsentence, and says, "Hey, hang in there, everything's going to be great!" He advertises a lot for a new location he opened last year, but not for ours, and then tells me how much he spends on advertising. He's like a kid with a new toy, while he neglects the older place. He promises to make repairs, or have the carpet cleaned, or deal with some other issue, he says "Next week, next week, I'll do it in a couple of weeks" and it never gets done. I feel like he's lying to placate people when he doesn't intend to follow through. One of my coworers thinks his behavior is textbook ADD. I know he's not going to change, so I need to learn to cope. Opportunities are scarce in my city, so I'm stuck until I've built up enough of my own clientele to be able to go out on my own. Anyone have any suggestions?

Other Answers:
get real. live with it or leave and quit your whining

ADD can be dealt with by constant reminding. if you ask him to do something and he cuts you off, politely remind him that you were talking and not finished. If he doesn't do something that is of his obligation, find methods to remind him.
