How does and orthodontist take off someones braces, and does it hurt?!

Question:

Answers:
They use the plier like tools that UNPAINFULLY seperate the glue from the bracket while the wire is still in. Then they slip off the bands from your back teeth and take it all out at once. Then they get the glue from your teeth using that thing that smooths them out. It does not hurt and your teeth will feel slippery when they're done.

Other Answers:
they more or less rip them off. it doesnt hurt they use a specialized tool to do the work.

They just pull the brackets off. They don't hurt but your teeth feel funny when they are off.

they will pull them off with a special tool and then clean the cement off of your teeth.. and it doesnt hurt as bad as putting them on

First they take off the rubberbands, then take out the wire running through the brackets. They then just pull the brackets off with a tool like pliers. It doesn't hurt at all.

they use a special tool it looks pliars and they gently work them off no it doesnt hurt

It's sounds crazy but they basicly remove the wires, grab a bracket with a tool and twist and yank them off. It doesn't hurt I believe because the "cement" has probably weakened. Than they buff the rough cement off the teeth like they do when they are polishing them in a cleaning. It will feel a little strange but so good to have them off that it will be worth it.
