I've been using Zest bar soap for years to eliminate my dandruff, but never really made a big deal about it. It really works.

try leaving apple cider vinegar on your head (saturate your hair) for an hour or two before shampooing. you might need to do it up to 3 times, although it worked WONDERS for my husband in one go.
