I'm sure your doctor or clinic gave you directions for fasting. Usually means absolutely nothing after 10 PM or Midnight. You want a valid test, right? Follow doctor's orders.

It is unlikely that a blood test would require no water as
well as no food. Some medical fastings do include water
and usually say so clearly on the paperwork eg NIL BY MOUTH.

i have always been told to not drink or eat before my blood work. ask tomorrow when you are there exactly what they meant. if you can stand not to drink anything i would avoid it just to be sure. otherwise. water is 78% of our make up, can't see it hurting too terribly much.
You can drink water, no worries. Basically, no foods or darker liquids for a minimum of 10 hours prior to your blood being drawn.

i have to have regular fasting blood tests and the only thing you are allowed is water , tea , coffee but nothing else. good luck hope it goes ok

Nope. You can have as much water as you want but just water. I hate how you can normally not be hungry but the fact that you can't eat makes you want to soooo badly. good luck.
