How does someone become Transexual?!

I just dont get it !! How can a man become a woman ? What does the surgeory do to him ? Do they take off his penis and plant a Vagina!! I just dont understand .. I mean when a man becomes a woman , does he keep his testicles or what ?? I really want to know ?? cause I have seen so many people on TV who are doing that and i just cant understand ?

It's more than an issue of psychology. I beleive it's genetic. For a man transform to a woman, first they have to dress up and pick up the manner of a woman while taking hormones for a few years. And I'm not talking about those drag queen exaggeration of being a woman. Just normal woman. They have to constantly go for counselling. The hormone will soften their face and body to become more like a woman's body.For woman to man, they start growing facial beard. Usually they have to wait for at least 2 years for the final operation. Just to make sure their conviction of changing their sex are real. Thus the term pre-op transexual and post-op transexual. The pre-op usually include breasts implant as well. The surgery require to remove the testicles. But in order to maintain the sensation of the man made virgina, the penis will be buttefly and inward into a man made virgina so at least during intercouse they maintain sensation. For woman to man, part of their thigh or buttock are carve out to make a shape of a penis and same by using the sensitive part like clitoris and labia around the shape of the penis.Being a transexual is not a trend or a fad, it's a life long identity struggle. its a difficult journey even after the operation. they have to take hormones for the rest of their life. The lucky one they get it done early in their lifes. but most either in their late 30's or perhaps in their 40's. It's an expensive operation not to mention painful physically and emotionally. They do not do it out of pleasure, just to have a finality on their identity.

It's gross. I'm pretty sure the man loses both his testicles and penis.and they form a fo-vagina out of the skin they saved from removing the penis.it really is disgusting, and I don't know if they shemale can have intercourse afterwards, and if it even feels pleasureable.its just.disgusting.
You are very Right in your guess that Man if get operated to get artificial vagina, then he is called Transexual(this vagina is created by making soft skin pocket near groin after removing testes and penis under hormonal cover)..
But the basic change first comes in their behaviour(means that man starts feeling that they are female by nature)..this is called Transvertism..These men starts wearing feminie clothings, talk like them and express their likings similar to females.When all this get too much, they consult doctors and get themselves turned into females(only by appearance) but they can never reproduce..

The process of a man becoming an anatomical woman involves the excision of most of the tissue in the penis, conserving part of the glans (the 'head') and the skin of the entire penile shaft. The testicles are excised, while the scrotal skin is fashioned into the labia majora. An opening is made at the perineum just behind the scrotum, and the skin of the penile shaft is turned inside out and placed within the opening; this forms the 'neovagina'.
