What cause mouth ulcers?!

I hate mouth ulcer it drives me nuts.Is it caused by vitamin C defiency?I brushed my teeth everyday.I don't have family history who are suffering from mouth ulsers.Glad if you can help.

Mouth ulcers are caused by many disorders. These include canker sores, leukoplakia, gingivostomatitis, oral cancer, oral lichen planus, oral thrush, herpes simplex, and other disorders. The skin lesion of histoplasmosis may also appear as a mouth ulcer.

I know i used to get canker sores all the time-those are inherited

It's a virus which is always in your system, but the sores can appear for a lot of reasons. I get them sometimes when I stay up late too many nights in a row working, for example. Certain vitamin deficiencies can make it worse as well.
Get plenty of rest, a vitamin a day, reduce stress. That's the best advice I can give you to reduce them.
I wouldn't necessarily say the mouth ulcers are caused by a Vit. C deficiency, I know that if I take TOO MUCH Vit. C that gives me the canker cores. Also, too much acid in your diet can cause the ulcers as well.
I went to the doctor a couple of months ago because I had three of them under my tongue. He just told me it could be because of something high in vitamin c you've eaten or other acidic foods you might've eaten. He also told me I should go to the store and buy some Vitamin B Complex (you can get it at any grocery store in the vitamin section). I haven't had any since..soooooooo i guess they work.
i get them when i eat or drink foods high in acid. tomatoes, tomato juice, oranges, even pop. quick cure if it is acid. a dab of milk-of-magnesia on the sore will heal it. i don't know why it works but it does for me.
THEY CAN B DUE TO CONSTIPATION OR dentures or wen u drink less water..believe me start drinkin lots of water..mouth ulcers wont bother u ever(unless there is any other medical reason)
