I'm looking into getting a Breast Reduction, does anyone know anything about it?!

I live in the UK and I am looking into getting a breast reduction. Does anyone know anything about it, or know anyone who has had it done or had it done themselves? I'm only 18 but they are really big, where do I start looking?

I had one done myself almost two years ago. It was by far the best decision I've ever made. I was giant (they run in my family) and completely disproportionate with the rest of my body. I shopped around for a plastic surgeon until I found someone I liked. I had 13 pounds taken off; went from a G cup to a perfect D. They're beautiful. It changes the way you look at yourself entirely. No more back problems. No more obnoxious comments from strangers. People look in my eyes when they talk to me now. Its amazing.
Do you know anyone else who had it done where you are? Ask friends if they know anyone. Find out how their experiences were. I found my surgeon through word of mouth. He was terrific. Good luck!

My friend had a breast reduction because her breasts were so big and heavy that her back was giving her so much pain. Start by looking into some good cosmetic surgeons in your area.meet with them and see if you like them and see what kind of work they have done. You want to be sure that he/she has done breast reductions before and ask to see before and after pics. Good luck!
don't do it. Big boobs are great. You won't get as much attention so that would be silly. At least let me give them a squeeze first.

Breasts are made up of a serious fat layer. If you are overweight at all, losing weight will natually reduce your breast size. Wait until your body has settled into its adult shape and size you will change more after 18. Patience is very important.
Give this very serious consideration, all surgeries have serious risk.
YEP.it makes yer breasts smaller..never had it done myself though.(being male wouldn't need to,or not until mid fifties anyway).. but on the serious side, discussions with your G.P over the psycology and other after effects, benefits etc may be a good first step..
