what kind of education is required to be in the field of pediatrics?!

Question:

Answers:
It depends on what you want to do.

To be a pediatrician, you will need to go to medical school and get an M.D.

To be a registered nurse (R.N.) or a licenced practical nurse (L.P.N.) you will need to go to nursing school. LPNs go for about 2 years, RNs go for about 4.

There are also certified nursing assistants (C.N.A.) which is a very short program (usually about 6 weeks), but I think you would find few positions in pediactrics.

These days, LPN programs are taught at many technical schools and there is much financial aid available due to the fact that most areas are experiencing shortages of qualified nurses. So if you are interested, I would highly reccommend it. Good luck to you.
