OMG too funny. That happened to me and I almost took out my ex bfs eye, he was so grossed out. Just don't do it around other people or do it after you take a bath or shower, they are easily plyable then.

Clip your toenails when you put your foot partway into an empty wastebasket. You can also try cutting them all at once, instead of several pieces, and cut the last bit real slow.
Don't press down so hard on the clippers. Cut small pieces at a time, and make a pile on a hard surface. Then throw them out. I've stepped on sharp clippings before in stocking feet. OUCH! I once got one in my mouth.
im not sure if you can find them where you live but they make a set of clippers that has a plastic thing on the outside and it catches them in it so they dont take an eye out
Best solution: I cut them over the toilet bowl. They fall in there and I don't have any clippings to clean up afterwards.only have to flush them down the hole.

Use a plastic or paper bag from the store and after you clip your nails just trow the bag away . Do you file your nails or just throw them away ?
