Answers:
After the waxing, lightly spray an alcohol-based spray on the area. Use something like a light body spray. Cover your goodies with a hand first, or it will sting on that area! It works great, like a mans aftershave, to prevent bumps and rashes. This works with shaving or waxing the area.

maybe you should try a different wax.or maybe you wax the area too much and the skin is raw

You may just have super sensitive skin.

1st how often do you wax and how long have you been waxing. If you are waxing pretty often (every other week or as soon as the hair is long enough) it is going to be sore and tender. The closer together your waxings the lest time your skin has to recover. I understand not wanting to go a month (or more) between but it could help alot.

2nd Also if you just started waxing it's going to be more tender anyway. It took me almost 1/2 a year for my skin to get fully used to it. (and even now if it's not my regular person my skin can get really irritated) Also if you alternate between shaving and waxing it doesn't work. You have to wax religiously for waxing to have it's proper effect

3rd make sure after you wax you loofah the skin really well for the next few weeks. Scrubing off the dead cells help reduce ingrown hairs that lead to bumpiness.

If none of this works you could go the way my friend did and just get Lazar removal (which was just too expensive for my taste) but you'll never have to worry about it again.

Also a waxer with sensitive skin

I am a partner in a salon (male) these are her words, she always gets annoyed when she hears of ladies suffering from there bikini waxing.

A moderate bit of discomfort can be expected but not pain, especially if this is your first. If your therapist has been properly trained IE applying wax in correct direction, rubbing of strip in correct direction, most important supporting the skin on strip removal (this involves you the client and therapist) and application of an after wax lotion. If you are not getting this kind of service try somewhere else.

It does become easier the more you go.
