**Use lotion with Elastin in it.

Stretch marks during pregnancy are very common and effect more than half the pregnant women. They appear as purplish or bright red lines and can be quite itchy as they are formed.
Source(s):
The deeper layer of the skin called the dermis is composed of elastic fibers called elastin as well as collagen. Whenever, there is a rapid change in skin stretch, as in pregnancy, the elastic fibers in this deeper layer can't cope up with the rapid change. This results in the damage of the underlying connective tissue, which appears as stretch marks.

My personal experience is that stretch marks do not show as much on paler skin than on tan skin. I am very pale, and my stretch marks do not show nearly as much as my friend's do (she is very tan). I think tanning makes the stretch marks tan, but not as tan as the unstretched skin surrounding them. Then the stretch marks are more noticeable. They just sort of fade over time into paler skin, probably because they are almost the same color. Besides, I don't want to risk getting skin cancer, either.

look up tanzotic lotion..it will tan your stretch marks at the same rate as your other skin,,made w/ emu oil..works for me!
