Are you talking about the external scar or the scar tissue left inside? .Try Mederma for the external scar. I had surgery on both my feet this past fall/winter and started using it immediately when the stitches came out and you can't see anything now. For internal scar tissue though.It has to be "worked out".As in moving the area, etc. Physical therapy does lots of that. That of course depends on what type surgery you had as to whether or not it's applicable. ..hope that helped..

whatever you do. DONT just try stuff on your scar straight after surgery without the knowledge and approval of your surgeon. You may inadvertently introduce a pathogen that can adversely affect the healing ability.
Wait til the surface has healed, and the underlying scarring is drained, and not infected. Then let your doctor know what you are trying so that if there are any adverse reactions they have a good idea where to start looking for a treatment.
