Can Adults get the mumps even if they have had both MMR shots??!

Question:

Answers:
yes they can

Other Answers:
Yes, sometimes the shots don't work. I have had to have a new rubella shot three times now, my body just doesn't want to immunize.

Probably not because you were given a version of that particular disease *in* the shot itself, to help build up your immunity against it. Call a health service with your question. THIS adult will get it, though. I've never had the mumps *or* the shot. I was born too early for the shot.

just because you had the mmr vaccine, does not mean you can not get measles, mumps or rebella. You may not have antibodies to mumps. But you can get whats called a titre, that will tell you if you have antibodies to them. It is a simple blood test.

yes i had my shots but i still go the mumps.

yes they can look at the outbreak in utah as well montana ? as well basin wyoming. coby. montana. ?

Yes if the shots didn't work which can happen from time to time

Yes. The mumps vaccine only works 90% of the time.

That means 1 on 10 people can get mumps if exposed.
