What is best for the a man on diet, cold or tap water?!

I know this sounds crazy but i saw it on the news once and still said HUH ARE U KIDDING and laughed but..

Ice cold water actually burns calories they said something about the body working hard to increase the temp of the water and it actually burns calories not many but more than reg tap water,

but you should drink lots of water when dieting no matter what anyway another thing i learned is to put a slice of lemon or orange in your water the citrus increases your metaoblism

There is quite a lot of evidence to show that ice cold water is best when on a diet - it forces the body to burn a few more calories to bring the body temperature back to normal.

If you're dieting you need at least 2 litres of non-diuretic fluids per day (sadly, coffee and coke ARE diuretic).

Regular intake of water helps to keep the function of the kidneys at its highest which in turn unburdens the liver which is where fat is metabolised. In other words, an unburdened liver will burn more fat than a clogged one. You'll feel better and have more fat burning potential!
