Hair color products?!

Question:
Experienced colorists: what are good quality hair coloring products that are either low/or no chemical based for brittle, dry, fine hair?
Answers:
Get your hair healthy before you even think about putting a chemical on it! I like 'Hot n Moist' by Ion--available at Sally's. Once your hair is healthy, go to a local Vo-Tech for a cheap, professional coloring. They use all professional products, and there is always a teacher there.

You might want to re-consider dying your hair if you have brittle, dry, fine hair. Even no chemical base, will do some type of damage. If you don't want it to get worse. I wouldn't even dye your hair.

l'oreal,preference,excellence.. hair nice and soft

I've dyed my hair about three times and all three times I've used which ever one was the cheapest. But you probably dye your hair way too much so you might want to give a rest because obviously your hair needs it if it's brittle, dry and fine.

I would look into either Natural Instincts or some Henna for coloring depending on what color you're going for.

First do NOT use Henna b/c it will have to be cut or grown out their is nothing that will take it out. If you have dry brittle hair you should talk to your stylist about doing some protein packs at home and doing a deep conditioning treatment once a week for atleast a month before trying any kind of chemical. If you do decide to go on without doing any of these than your hair will prolly end up worse than it already is.
