i need the name for the antibiotic for staph infection

Loracarbef and Lorabid are the most common antibiotics used. Please see your doctor to get an exam and testing done.

Penicillian - personal experience - I had a staph infection for 6 weeks - some staph does not work with certain anti-biotics. Whatever the doctor gives you - take the full course. This is serious stuff - don't mess with this without professional advice !

Neomycin sulphate.zithromycin to be sure (broad band) but ask your MD first what he reccomends. Stacy RN

For staph aureus the most commonly used antibiotic would be flucloxacillin as most infections are succeptable to this antibiotic.
