What does PLSOS stand for?!

Question:
It has to do with some type of orthothodic used for people with diabeties for people that suffer from a dropped foot. It helps them keep their foot from dragging?
Answers:
I believe you may have the abbreviation wrong, or whoever gave you that abbreviation may be using it incorrectly.

I believe what you are referring to is a PLO or PLS. PLO stands for posterior leaf orthotic. PLS stands for posterior leaf spring. They are both the same device.

The PLO or PLS is the lightest in weight of the ankle/foot orthotics (AFOs for short) and is used mainly when a person has "foot-drop." A foot-drop occurs when there is weakness in the muscles in the front of the lower leg that lift up the toes and foot when one takes a step (due to diabetic neuropathy or paralysis for example). A PLO or PLS holds the foot at a right angle to the leg and prevents the foot from dragging.
