To Pierce of not to Pierce that is the question?!

First time piercer.long time viewer. I want to get my belly botton peirced but don't really know how to get started. Is it going to hurt. Should I take a friend. Where are good places to go? In Orange County .by the way. Ummmm.how to take care of it and what to expect after wards.

Hey! The belly button piercing is a must have! I had my belly button pierced about 10 years ago- and never regretted it! You will certainly want to have someone with you when you go, its a little nerve wrecking, but nothing to worry about. It doesn't hurt while the piercing is being done, but it is very tender afterward for a few days. Mine did get a little infected, but I was able to take care of that with Neutrogena’s cleansing clear facial bar. You will want to keep it cleaned daily for about 2 weeks and be sure to turn the ring every time you wash it to keep it clean.
OK, an awesome place to get it done is at this tattoo and piecing shop in Newport Beach. I can't think of the name but it is right behind Malarky's Irish Pub, just passed 32nd Street. That address is 3011 Newport Blvd. Just after you pass Albertson's headed W, you'll come to a light; and Newport Blvd, sort of splits; right in front of you will be a little shopping plaza with be several stores, restaurants. Malarky's is within that and the tattoo & piecing place is right behind the bar- just remember it’s at the split, in the middle of the street. If you pass the Spaghetti Factory & Newport Pier, you've gone too far!
I had my belly button pierced there, my sisters had it done there, and several friends went there as well. I highly recommend this place! It is a very clean and professional establishment, as far as tattoo parlors go. But everything is sterilized, the people that work there are very polite, and overall, it's just a pleasant place. And certainly, the sort of establishment you'd want to go to get something like that done. They will ask for ID though, because you have to be 18 or older to get it done, and you'll have to sign certain waivers.

when you get it pierced they will tell you how to take care of it and you can get all the supplies you need there. take a friend, it might be helpful to have the support. i've been pierced lots of times, and it doesn't hurt that bad.
It shouldn't hurt that bad.I have my navel,tongue,ears(3 times each),nipples and clit pierced.Nippled hurt the worst.Tongue and ears the least.Navel was somewhere in the middle.You'll have to clean it with salt water and peroxide until it heals.You should be totally pain free in a few days.If the piercing site is red or oozing ,remove the jewelry.You don't want an infection.
I have my belly pierced and I took a friend it help it doesn't really hurt its kinda like a shot . But while its healing try not to get it caught on anything. Do not put peroxide on it it will make your hole bigger cause it eats away bacteria I know I've seen it happen to sumone but keep it clean i think they might tell you to put neosporin or it but clean it alt-least four times a day and do not change it for about two months. And you can get it on the top or bottom of you belly both are really cute.
Ya, you should do it if you want to. I had mine peirced at 15. Just make sure to get the sea salt and anti-bacterial solution and take care of it!! DON'T touch it the first few weeks after it is pierced! It takes a while to heal You'll want to show everyone and play w/it, but Dont!! The reason why is that mine got infected and didn't heal. Had to take it out and re-peirced it a year later. Sorry, don't know of any reputable places in Orange County. Try googling it or ask around.
Hello!! im glad if i help you. Cause i got a pierceing 5 months ago. This is aproximately the period it heals during. Few days after piercing u cant wet that spot. And later, when u r having a showe, u should cover belly button by cotton wool or something in case u wouldnt wet it. Dont be affraid, it doesnt hurt so much. And it looks really very pretty. I dont know whta about in USa, cause i live in Europe, but u should do that at professional. U can take a friend of course, but jsut for fun. I did it alone, and trust me.there is not a big deal.
