Lamictal is usually a "weight neutral" drug. I did not gain any weight when starting lamictal. Good luck with it.

i have been on lamictal and i was trying to loose wieght at the same time and i was doing great on my diet and exersize better than ever b4 and only ost 5 pound, and i know my body and i usually loose more than that, and then i stoped taking it so much for a week and i lost another 5 pounds almost instantly. and i looked it up online and many people experience things like that, their dr.s insist it doesnt cause wieght gain but they swear it does.
