Tell me why I should quit smoking again?!

Question:

Answers:
for the long term benefits. yes, right now it may not seem to do any good, but it will help you in the long run. health wise.

plus your second hand smoke won't be hurting any others.

Other Answers:
Because when you take a drag of a smoke the smoke is entering all the capiliaries in you lungs clogging them from allowing oxygen to enter your heart and blood then all those carcinigens have entered your blod stream and infecting all your cells in all your muscles, your organs, your skin. You only get one life. And most smokers will say "you have to die sometime", but "if youre gonna live it should be a healthy life"

How long have you been smoking? Why quit now? Smoking makes you seem more classy and sophisticated, especially if you have one of those nifty cigarette holders like the Penguin had on the old 70's Batman episodes. People who try to tell you that it's bad for you and that you should quit are just jealous because you look so much cooler than they do. Don't worry. They'll come up with a cure for cancer eventually. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Because you want to.

i was smoking at age of 12 quit few months ago it made me feel better im still out of shape and breath most of time but doing better than i was while smoking. believe me its worth quitting its hard as hell and its good if u have sumone there to be proud of u. without my now ex friend at one point who i really cared about it felt good to see her smile when i told her i went another day without smoking. but u gotta do it for urself most of all or ull just end up starting again

that **** is bad

am a smoker so I know the best reason is your health. Also the order, the expense, taking years off your life.

smoking the gayest thing u can do. its like telling the cig to kill you.

your killing the world as well as yourself. Just imagine what you could have bought if you hadn't spent so much money on cigarettes..

Because it's bad and can effect others and can cause lung cancer, and all types of cancers. My great granpa homer lives in hawaii and found out about it and he named it cancer. He's still alive.

Because your body is ur temple

Hmm.for your health's sake is a really good reason. There is also the effect of second hand smoke on those you love. The effects nicotine has on an unborn baby. The fact that it stinks and is unattractive to many of the opposite sex. It is inconvenient, as now you have to go outside to light up. Now, as in California, there is the move on to disallow people to even light up on the streets or anywhere else in public. Otherwise, puff away! ;)

I once being told that a single cigarette would reduce your lifespan for 10 to 14 minutes. If this is correct, then you definitely should stop smoking.

its bad for your health/waste of money/bad breath/yellow teeth..about a month since i had one

I'm a smoker too. I ask myself this question over and over as well. Why should you quit smoking? I could answer the same as everyone else for all the health benefits etc. yadda yadda yadda but let's face it.you only live once and that really doesn't deter anyone from giving up a vice. Look how many people drink alcohol? Certainly not for their health or the safety of others! I would love to hear as much preaching against drinking as there is for smoking lately.sheesh. But anyway..back to the question.

I don't sleep around, I don't drink, I don't do drugs.smoking is my only vice! So the only reason I can offer is the same reason that I am going to use to quit smoking..

It costs toooooo darn much! When I think of all the shoesssssss I could buy with that money, or the clothes, or really cool craft thingamabobs I could afford if I didn't smoke.dang.and here I'm wasting all my money on ciggarettes that I don't really like the taste of and I never get that cool headrush from anymore. That is reason enough for me!

When you do decide to quit.try the 7 day Smoke Away program. It worked for me and my mom a few years ago quite easily and with little withdrawal symptoms. It made quitting easy. Thats the one I'm going to use again. I had quit for 5 months, her for 8, but then I started smoking again cause.silly me.thought that I could control it and only smoke one occassionally..fatal mistake LOL.

Good luck with quitting!

First of all, smoking not only harms you but also the others who may not welcome it (thru second-hand related diseases). Moreover, smoking is a disease that denies you to be a healthy being because it might kill you. For example, in the U.S. about 440,000 deaths/year that is directly related to smoking. Think about it, it is a disease that can be prevented and you MUST STOP if you think this is horrific and you MUST STOP if you LOVE yourself.

Because your clothes stink, your breath stinks, you are throwing away money that could go to things that would be a better reflection of the values you hold. You need more and more cigarettes to recreate the original feeling it gave you, so it's getting more expensive because of quantity and higher taxes. If you are like most smokers I know, you don't even like smoking and aren't sure why you continue.

Because you are asking this question on here, which tells me you want to quit. Because you pay higher medical bills, or you will with age. Because you don't want to be the person smoking a cigarette through a trach stoma. Because you are tired of funding a big corporate machine that doesn't care if you live or die as long as they get your money.

Because you need healthy lungs to live. Because you care about your family and friends and don't want to contribute to their health problems through your second hand smoke. Because smoking isn't as cool now as it was when you were sneaking puffs in the backyard behind the shed with your friends. Because you are stronger than a cigarette addiction.

because smoking is very harmful to your health and life. the nicatine makes your teeth yellow, poisens your health, and ruins your life in time. the tabacco makes ickey stuff in your lungs called tar that slowly builds up, in time it you start coughing and gaging more often because your lungs is trying to take in air but the tar prevents that. when you are smoking around friends, its twice as dangerous as your condition because breathing someone elses smoke can put them in higher danger, also known as second hand smoking. also when you smoke for a long time, there are many results and are all bad, I can give you a few examples 1. it gives you cancer over time 2. It can sometimes effect your brain 3. you harm other people around you. if this was all very informative, your welcome. these are words of wisdom " if you value your health and want a better life, its up to if you want stop or continue." I won't stop you, Im just giving you advice.

Because you can't stop thinking about it.

So you don`t stink, so you don`t get funky colored skin, so you save upto 100,000`s of $ in your lifetime, so you can get in public places, and oh yeah, so you don`t give you or those around you a slow agonizing death just in order to use a product that has absolutely no benefit to you.

i am looking a girl send data
