anxiety meds not working?!
Question:
I have generalized anxiety disorder and I don't feel my doctor is really listening! I am currently taking cymbalta (for depression) and focalin (a type of low-dose ADHD med). My therapist doesn't think my issues are ADHD but anxiety. I am very sensitve to meds. Has anybody had any luck with meds that don't cause you to become knocked-out? (I do realize that everyone's reaction is different)

you might not like this but i think alot is behavioral, you have to change the way you react to things and see things. it takes more than meds. you have to make yourself hange

try effexor 150 milligrams
i take effexor 150 mg they take about six weeks to kick in but they do . good luck
